To create an account, we ask for your name, address, email address, phone number, and a password. Your email address and password are used to access and maintain your account.

To prepare your documents, our online questionnaire asks for the information needed for your estate plan, which may include information about your family, your beneficiaries, the people you choose as trustees and agents, your assets, and your health care wishes. We use this information only to prepare your documents, support your account, and provide our services. When you provide information about other people, you are responsible for having their permission to share it with us.

To purchase a product, you provide billing and payment information. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. ELP does not store your full credit or debit card number. Your payment information is used only to complete the purchase you request. We do not charge recurring or automatic fees.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We may contact you by email and by text message about your order, your documents, and your account. With your consent, we may also send promotional emails and text messages. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the email; we will honor your request within 10 business days. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Your consent to receive text messages is not shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • with service providers who help us operate our business, such as payment processing, website hosting, email and text messaging, document preparation software, and shipping, and only for those purposes;

Please keep your password confidential and sign out when you are finished.

As a courtesy, we keep copies of your completed documents on file with no scheduled deletion date, so you can request a copy if yours is lost. This is a convenience, not a guaranteed storage service, and you should keep your own copies in a safe place. You may request deletion of your account or personal information by contacting us, subject to any records we are required to keep by law.

You may review and update the personal information in your account at any time by signing in or by contacting us using the information below.

Children

The website is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old to use our services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
